MANUFACTURERS OF STAIR PARTS AND FURNITURE COMPONENTS SINCE 1986
Dave Dalby Woodturning manufacture a range of stair spindles, newel posts, hand rails and finials, all in a wide range of timbers including Oak, Pine, Ash, Sapele, Cherry, Maple, Beech, Tulipwood and Walnut.
In addition to stair parts, we also manufacture a wide range of furniture parts including farmhouse table legs, pedestal table legs, bed legs, bun feet and decorative kitchen pilasters, all in the same wide range of timbers.
Established in 1986, Dave Dalby Woodturning remains a small family business which has become one of the leading suppliers of woodturnings to the building and furniture industries. Our highly skilled craftsmen use the best traditions of hand turning, combined with modern production methods to manufacture high quality components, sanded to the highest standard, ready to receive the finish of your choice.
Our website illustrates most of our products but if you require something not shown, we are happy to quote for any item of woodturnery using drawings, pictures or samples in any number from one to one thousand. We are proud to say that all our products are made right here in the UK.
At Dave Dalby Woodturning we are committed to keeping a healthy environment. All our timber is sourced from areas that actively promote sustainable forestry. We are proud to say that over 99% of our sawdust waste is sent away for recycling into biomass fuel and all our solid wood waste is distributed locally for heating fuel (we provide free fuel to heat several of our elderly neighbours' homes).
All prices quoted on this website are subject to V.A.T. at the current rate. We accept all major credit/debit cards over the phone and paypal over the net. We sell our range of standard table legs direct from our website see table legs page for details, however, we prefer to talk to our clients and larger stairparts orders are usually taken over the phone, see ordering info.
We make every effort to ensure the photos on this website are an accurate depiction of the timbers used, however, timber is a natural product and colour variation is inevitable and can only add character to a finished project. As part of our policy of ongoing development we reserve the right to alter specifications at any time and without prior notice.
